A total of 9.35 billion won was invested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This hydrogen charging station is the first hydrogen bus-only charging station operated in Sejong. It passed the completion inspection on January 31 of this year and underwent a three-month test run to stabilize the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is capable of charging about 270 hydrogen buses on average per day, making it the largest in the central region. It is located in the center of the garage used by about 300 city buses per day, and is expected to promote Sejong City&#8217;s stable hydrogen bus supply policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, 11 hydrogen buses have been shipped to Sejong and are undergoing trial operation, and 34 hydrogen buses will be added in the first half of the year, for a total of 45 hydrogen buses scheduled to be operated this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sejong City plans to publicize its symbolism as a city of Korean culture by distributing hydrogen buses decorated with the Hunminjeongeum Haeryebon pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lee Chang-heum, head of the Climate and Carbon Policy Office at the Ministry of Environment, said, \u201cBecause internal combustion engine buses emit about 30 times more greenhouse gases and about 43 times more fine dust than passenger cars, the introduction of hydrogen buses, which are zero-emission vehicles, is very effective in improving air quality and reducing greenhouse gases.\u201d \u201cThe Ministry of Environment will continue to spare no support in building hydrogen charging stations to foster the hydrogen vehicle ecosystem,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a
