Dreams FC coach Abdul Karim Zito says his team won\u2019t be carried away by their first leg performance against Zamalek in the semi-final of the CAF Confederation Cup.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Still Believe lads managed to secure a goalless draw<\/a> against the former champions last Sunday in a packed Cairo International Stadium.<\/p>\n

Despite the dominance of the Egyptian side, Dreams FC\u2019s resilience paid off as they denied Zamalek enduring they returned for the second leg as the happier side.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the return leg encounter scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, April 28, 2024, Zito is vigilant.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve put the first leg aside, we know it will be very difficult, it looks very frightening but it is not impossible,\u201d Karim Zito said as quoted by Akoma Sports.<\/p>\n

The experienced gaffer is hopeful of securing victory even if it has to be decided after regulation time.<\/p>\n

Dreams FC after clinching the Ghana FA Cup have exceeded expectations by going all the way to the knockout stage of the competition and eventually reaching the semi-finals. This feat in the last 20 years has only been achieved by two Ghanaian clubs Hearts of Oak who beat Kotoko in the final if the competition in 2004.<\/p>\n

With Karim Zito at the helm, the Ghanaian side aim to replicate their impressive performances throughout the tournament which includes beating 2009 champions Stade Malien in the quarter-finals.<\/p>\n
