Leicester City\u2019s Abdul Fatawu Issahaku on Tuesday night became the first Ghanaian player in history to score a hat-trick in the EFL Championship.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The winger\u2019s brilliant trio of goals took the headlines in Leicester City\u2019s mauling of Southampton.<\/p>\n

Issahaku\u2019s hat-trick, which was his first ever in his professional career inspired Leicester City to a 5-0 demolition of Southampton at the King Power Stadium and pushing the Foxes closer towards promotion from the Sky Bet Championship.<\/p>\n

Issahaku has hit top gear since his loan move from his parent club Sporting Lisbon to the 2016 Premier League champions.<\/p>\n

The Black Stars winger now has 6 goals and 12 assists this season in the Championship and making himself one of the first names on the team sheet.<\/p>\n
