Renowned Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has called on Think Tank, IMANI Ghana to partner for a\u00a0 second protest over the recent erratic power cuts in the country.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The movie producer in a tweet on April 22 expressed her preparedness to partner with IMANI Ghana for the second time to stage a massive demonstration against the Akufo-Addo government for the consistent power outages in the country.<\/p>\n

The actress was the lead organiser of a massive protest against the John Mahama government which brought together many celebrities over \u2018dumsor\u2019 back in 2015.<\/p>\n

In her tweet, Yvonne Nelson disclosed that her 2015 \u2018dumsor\u2019 protest was supported by IMANI Ghana and wants same to be done against the current government.<\/p>\n

Ghanaians have recently experienced consistent \u2018dumsor\u2019 across the country with many calling for a load-shedding timetable despite government\u2019s denial that \u2018dumsor\u2019 is back.<\/p>\n

Other Energy experts have also lashed out at government for its poor management of the situation.<\/p>\n

Special aide to former President John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawah Mogtari has also criticised government for \u201cfailing to take responsibility for the power crisis (Dumsor) in the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

Commenting on the energy challenges on her X platform, she said\u201d These power outages must be condemned especially when those responsible refuse to accept responsibility for their own actions that have led to the consequences we are experiencing.<\/p>\n

\u201cUntold hardships, unemployment, corruption and stealing, land grabbing and now complete darkness and a total disregard for our basic needs!<\/p>\n

\u201cThey rode on the back of propaganda to campaign. Where is the excess of power we didn\u2019t need or require! Can we have it now! Won the election on lies, have governed with lies and propaganda and now trying hard\u00a0 to hoodwink us, the darkness has exposed them.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis Akufo Addo\/Bawumia administration will go down as the worst in the history of this country. Ghana deserves better!\u201d<\/p>\n
