The Director of Elections and IT for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr Edward Omane Boamah, has questioned the basis of Ghanaians experiencing power outages (Dumsor) when the previous Mahama administration provided enough power generation plants including the Ameri thermal plant.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He described the government as \u2018deceitful\u2019 and \u2018incompetent\u2019 and one that cannot be truthful about \u2018Dumsor\u2019.<\/p>\n

In a post on his Facebook page, he said \u201cDear Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (Napo) & Dr. Bawumia. Is this Dumsor Power Diabetes: Such that Power is Abundant but Homes and Businesses are Lacking Power?<\/p>\n

We have stable national power supply \u2013 ECG assures customers<\/a><\/p>\n\n

\u201cYour deceitful and incompetent Akufo-Addo Bawumia government cannot even be truthful about Dumsor! PURC says transformers are not the cause of the dumsor Ghanaians are confronted with.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat justification can your NPP government offer Ghanaians for plunging Ghana into Dumsor when John Dramani Mahama provided enough power generation plants including the Ameri thermal plant which you have recently re-located to Kumasi and re-named?<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd if I may add should Ghanaians not be \u2018whipping and slapping\u2019 your government for lying about paying for excess power and blaming Mahama for it???<\/p>\n
