The National Paralympic Committee has announced October 4, 2024, as the date for their Elective Congress. <\/strong><\/p>\n

This decision received unanimous approval from its members during an event called the \u201cExtraordinary General Assembly,\u201d which took place at the Airport West Hotel in Accra on April 21, 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Among the resolutions passed was the establishment of an annual affiliation fee of One Thousand Ghana Cedis, intended to support the committee in its management endeavours.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, discussions encompassed various crucial matters, including the approval of Annual Membership Fees and the recognition of new Para Sports and their respective Federations\/Associations.<\/p>\n

These sports include Adaptive Boxing, Boccia Sports, Para Biathlon, Wheelchair Rugby, Para Archery, and Wheelchair Softball. Additionally, amendments to Article 2 Membership: Sections 1 to 5 were deliberated.<\/p>\n

In a prior General Assembly held on July 6, 2019, Samson Deen was elected President of NPC-Ghana, alongside seven other officers: Mr. Frederick Otu as Vice President, Mr. Peter Adjei as Secretary General, Mr. Evans Yeboah as Treasurer, Mr. Twum Barimah, Ibrahim Saani, Philip Otuo, and Henry Larbi as members.<\/strong><\/p>
