{"id":4345,"date":"2024-04-20T23:16:35","date_gmt":"2024-04-20T23:16:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sotnews.agency\/?p=4345"},"modified":"2024-04-20T23:16:35","modified_gmt":"2024-04-20T23:16:35","slug":"thieves-snatch-hearse-transporting-bodies-to-funeral","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sotnews.agency\/?p=4345","title":{"rendered":"Thieves snatch hearse transporting bodies to funeral"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='booster-block booster-read-block'>\n                <div class=\"twp-read-time\">\n                \t<i class=\"booster-icon twp-clock\"><\/i> <span>Read Time:<\/span>45 Second                <\/div>\n\n            <\/div><p>The South African community is reeling in shock after thugs hijacked a Toyota Quantum carrying corpses to funeral grounds.<\/p>\n<p>According to police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Mavela Masondo, the driver was dropped off mid way as the car snatchers drove off.<\/p>\n<p>The complainant alleged that he was driving along a highway when he was kidnapped. <\/p>\n<p>The police explained that the driver was driving a company vehicle of Icebolethu Funerals, transporting four bodies to Durban.<\/p>\n<p>The driver was then allegedly forced out of the vehicle by two occupants of a blue Renault Triber, who pointed firearms at him. He was then placed in the back seat of the Triber, and his head was covered.<\/p>\n<p>The suspects took the complainant\u2019s wallet, containing cash and a cellphone. <\/p>\n<p>The stolen hearse was later found abandoned with the four bodies inside.<\/p>\n<p>The police opened a case of kidnapping and are currently searching for the suspects.<\/p>        <div class=\"booster-block
