Deontay Wilder has expressed a high level of confidence, stating he is \u201c90%\u201d certain that a bout with Anthony Joshua will materialise down the line.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following a shocking defeat to Joseph Parker, Wilder aims to regain his form in a match against Zhilei Zhang on June 1.<\/p>\n

The former WBC heavyweight world champion acknowledged that his unexpected defeat to Parker derailed the anticipated showdown with Anthony Joshua. Nevertheless, Wilder remains optimistic that the encounter will eventually occur.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople are always going to want to see that fight no matter what,\u201d Wilder told BBC Sport. \u201cI put it in the high 90s [percentage chance of happening], he said.<\/p>\n

Wilder will fight Zhang as part of the five-versus-five Matchroom Promotions v Queensberry Promotions card in June in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n
