Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho beat off competition from Ghana and West Ham midfielder Mohammed Kudus, and 10 others as the Argentine clinched the 2024 FIFA Puskas Award.<\/p>\n

Garnacho\u2019s stunning Premier League overhead kick against Everton in November 2023 received the most votes and claimed the award.<\/p>\n

Garnacho pipped Black Stars midfielder Kudus, who was in contention for the coveted prize after his mazy solo run goal in the 2023\/2024 Europa League season.<\/p>\n

Kudus finished fifth in the voting process, however, earning six votes from FIFA\u2019s astute panelists, and seven from fans.<\/p>\n

The voting process was shared among the two voting groups: fans & a panel of FIFA legends.<\/p>\n

The allocation of points was done based on their positions\u2014five for first, three for second, and one for third. Additionally, the selection from the two voting groups counted for 50% of the total vote.<\/p>\n

Garnacho\u2019s 26 points were the most, placing him first and beating off competition from his fellow competitors.<\/p>\n
