Nigerian music star Tekno has dispelled the ongoing rumour that he received over N1bn in royalties from Kizz Daniel on the popular hit song \u201cBuga.\u201d<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The rife speculations claim that Tekno asserted that he had received royalties from Kizz Daniel totalling more than N1bn for their collaboration on \u201cBuga.\u201d<\/p>\n

The report added that 50% of every revenue generated from the song is sent to Tekno.<\/p>\n

In response to the rumour, Tekno posted on X, formerly Twitter to dismiss what he said was a fake interview \u00a0and cursed at whoever published it.<\/p>\n

\u2018Buga\u2019 was released on 3rd May 2022, it became the most popular song in Nigeria with many people around the world jumping on the challenge for the song.<\/p>\n

Notable amongst them was Liberian Ex-President, George Weah whi jumped on the dance challenge during a party rally.<\/p>\n
