After the release of her recent song titled, \u201cDECEMBER\u201d, the young and promising Ghanaian singer, Gyakie, revealed that a heartbreak caused by a loved one was her inspiration behind the song.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

On this footing, Onua TV\u2019s Entertainment Presenter, Nana Adwoa Annan, in an interview with the Singer, requested for clarification.<\/p>\n

In Twi, a Ghanaian local dialect, Gyakie responded, \u201cse meye nipa\u201d, translated as \u201cI am human\u201d. For her, she is not immune to heartbreak so long as she is a human being like everyone.<\/p>\n\n

Released on Friday, April 5, 2024, \u201cDECEMBER\u201d has recorded over 655,000 views on YouTube in 9 days.<\/p>\n

According to the Ghanaian singer, the song is not just another song for entertainment but a true life story; her personal story.<\/p>\n

Being disappointed and heartbroken by the actions of a dearly loved one, she stated that she could not enjoy the month of December, 2023, a period of celebration, love, and union, especially in the absence of that person.<\/p>\n

This, she explained as why she titled the song, \u201cDECEMBER\u201d which she wrote during her period of recovery.<\/p>\n

\u201cHo! Ho! Ho! Ho! It\u2019s another December without you\u201d, a line in the song confirms.<\/p>\n

Gyakie, finally, dedicated the song to everyone who is going through a tough moment by reason of heartbreak from a loved one.<\/p>\n

The song continues, \u201clook into\u00a0my eyes, what you find, what you see, is what you did to me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
