Former GFA president and a candidate of the Ejisu NPP primaries has stormed the voting center after being admitted at Asokore Mampong hospital on Friday night.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A source from his camp has attributed his condition to a stress after the Ramadan.<\/p>\n

He came to the voting center with an apparent weak appearance and was being assisted by a member of his team to walk.<\/p>\n

Nyantakyi hospitalised night before Ejisu NPP Parliamentary Primary<\/a><\/p>\n\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mr. Nyantakyi was hospitalized \u00a0on Friday after he suffered stomach pain. He was admitted at the Legacy Hospital at Asokore Mampong for treatment.<\/p>\n

However, Mr. Nyantakyi was discharged on Saturday morning, the same day of the election and has since visited the voting centre.<\/p>\n

It is unclear yet whether he has fully recovered to be engaged in the activities for the election day.<\/p>\n

A total of 1081 delegates are expected to vote to decide a candidate who will represent the New Patriotic Party in the upcoming By-election in the Ejisu Constituency.<\/p>\n

The party is holding its Parliamentary primary to choose a candidate after the demise of the Member of Parliament for Ejisu, John Ampontuah Kumah.<\/p>\n

Dr Kumah died aged 45 after a short illness.<\/p>\n

The Electoral Commission (EC) has set Tuesday, April 30, to hold the Ejisu constituency by-election.<\/p>\n
