Fulham have announced the club record signing of Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe for an initial \u00a327m.<\/p>\n

While the Cottagers have not disclosed the total fee for the 24-year-old, it is understood the deal\u00a0could rise to \u00a334m with add-ons.<\/p>\n

Smith Rowe, who joined Arsenal as a 10-year-old, made his senior debut for the Gunners at the age of 18 and made 80 Premier League appearances for the club, scoring 12 times.<\/p>\n

He has three England caps, although his last came in March 2022.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m finally here, so I\u2019m really happy for me and my family \u2013 it\u2019s a good moment,\u201d said Smith Rowe.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really excited, I just wanted to get here as quickly as possible so I could get going with my team-mates.<\/p>\n

\u201cListening to the project, speaking to the manager [Marco Silva], and seeing what players we have here already, I think it\u2019s an exciting project for me, and definitely the perfect step for my career going forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fulham have also signed\u00a0Ryan Sessegnon\u00a0on a two-year deal after his contract expired at Tottenham and Cottagers vice-chairman Tony Khan said he was \u201cthrilled\u201d with the arrival of Smith Rowe.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re very excited to sign such a talented young player, and we look forward to Emile joining the squad in Portugal as we continue to prepare for the new season ahead,\u201d said Khan.<\/p>\n

Fulham are also trying to sign\u00a0Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay, having made a second bid, believed to be worth \u00a320m, for the 27-year-old Scotland international.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>
