Former President John Dramani Mahama has said that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will protect the ballot in the 2024 general elections to ensure that the will of the people is reflected.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He urged all members of the NDC to be vigilant during the elections on December 7.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are prepared to protect the votes,\u201d he said during the launch of the NDC\u2019s campaign in Tamale on Saturday, July 27.<\/p>\n

Mr Mahama further said that he would be truthful to Ghanaians at all times.<\/p>\n

He says he will not tell the people what he cannot fulfill.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will be truthful to you, I will never tell you lies,\u201d he said during the launch of the NDC campaign in Tamale on Saturday, July 27.<\/p>\n

Mr Mahama further said that change is calling Ghana in the 2024 general elections.<\/p>\n

To him, the problems that have been created need new hands to solve them, not the very people who caused them.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe solve problems with the same people who caused the crisis,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He added \u201cit is not going to be easy, the more I look at the situation it is even worse than what the govt is telling us, it will take hard work and cooperation of the whole country\u201d<\/p>\n

He further assured Ghanaians that he would be truthful to them at all times.<\/p>\n
