Ahead of their Europa League encounter with Bayer Leverkusen tonight, West Ham United manager David Moyes has lauded the importance of Mohammed Kudus to his side.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kudus moved from Ajax to join the East London club this season and has been the toast of Hammers fans across the country.<\/p>\n

After what felt like a rough start to life in London, Kudus has scored 13 goals and topped it with four assists to help his team stay within the top 10 in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

His goal against Freiburg in the previous Europa League fixture inspired his team to reach the quarter-final.<\/p>\n

That goal won him the goal of the month at the club last month.<\/p>\n

\u201cMohammed Kudusis just not important to us for this tie but he has been important for us all season,\u201d Moyes told the media in a press conference ahead of his side\u2019s Europa League quarter final first leg in Germany.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe will be important for us going forward in the future as well. He is a young boy who has just come into the Premier League and has settled in incredibly well.\u201d He added.<\/p>\n

Kudus\u2019 importance for the Hammers cannot be understated. He has become a key figure in that West Ham attack licking us with Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are really enjoying the way he is playing for West Ham, I think he has a lot of development to come in the future and he is settling in. nicely here,\u201d Moyes said<\/p>\n

Moyes and his West Ham charges will be counting on Kudus on Thursday night for more of the same when they play Xabi Alonso\u2019s high flying Bayer Leverkusen.<\/p>\n
