Iconic Wrestlemania entertainer, Hulk Hogan who captivated wrestling fans in the 1980s and \u201990s, has declared his full support for Donald Trump ahead of the elections.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Making a surprising appearance at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night, Hogan delivered an energetic and captivating speech urging voters to choose Trump.<\/p>\n

Speaking just before Donald Trump was set to accept the party\u2019s nomination, Hulk Hogan referred to Trump as his \u201chero\u201d and a \u201cgladiator.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hogan tore off his shirt in a dramatic manner reminiscent of his wrestling days while giving his speech. This drew an enthusiastic response from the crowd.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat happened last week when they took a shot at my hero and tried to kill the next President of the United States?\u201d Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, said.<\/p>\n

\u201cEnough was enough. Run wild, brother. Let Trump-a-mania rule again,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

This comes less than a week after an assassination attempt on Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

Revealing a branded Trump shirt underneath his torn attire, Hogan explained that Trump\u2019s assassination attempt encourgaed him to speak out.<\/p>\n

\u201cI tried to stay out of politics, but after everything that\u2019s happened to our country over the past four years and everything that happened last weekend, I can no longer stay silent,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on his career, Hogan added, \u201cOver my career, I\u2019ve been in the ring with some of the biggest, baddest dudes on the planet. Donald Trump is the toughest of them all. They\u2019ve thrown everything at Donald Trump, all the investigations, the impeachments, the court cases, and he\u2019s still standing and kicking their butts.\u201d<\/p>\n

The convention also featured speakers like Linda McMahon, matriarch of the wrestling empire, and UFC President Dana White.<\/p>\n

Trump has a longstanding connection with professional wrestling, having been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.<\/p>\n

In his acceptance speech, he said, \u201cI consider this to be my greatest honor of all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump has participated in several combat sporting events over the years, including the \u201cBattle of the Billionaires\u201d at WWE\u2019s WrestleMania in 2007, where he took down Vince McMahon, co-founder of WWE.<\/p>\n
