Celebrated Ghanaian Actress Lydia Forson has shared her emotional story of how she suffered the pain of fibroids for ten years until she undergone surgery.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the \u2018Perfect Picture\u2019 actress, several women are going through similar pains and commended them for sharing their stories.<\/p>\n

She shared her ordeal while celebrating Fibroids Month in a post via X:<\/p>\n

\u201cJuly is Fibroid Awareness Month To the women who\u2019ve had to live in constant pain, multiple surgeries, questions about children, if you\u2019re pregnant because of how you look, or the fear that you never will; you\u2019re not alone. I lived in pain for 10 years before I got help.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday I\u2019m grateful that I don\u2019t have to live in so much pain, grateful that no one else will find me on a bathroom floor too paralyzed to move. Grateful that I don\u2019t have to be rushed into an emergency and even more grateful that I\u2019m alive to share my story when some aren\u2019t.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy story is a lot more complicated than I\u2019ve shared, and this is just a summary. But to any woman reading this, I do hope you\u2019re inspired to run tests, ask questions about your body, and also not feel so alone with the things you have to live with,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
