Seasoned Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw, has voiced her opposition to the widespread culture of being late amongst Africans, which is often referred to as \u201cAfrican time\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She emphasized that tardiness is not only unprofessional but also rude to others, and encouraged \u00a0change in attitude and respect for other people\u2019s time.<\/p>\n

On a post on X, Kate Henshaw expressed her strong disapproval of lateness and the common justification of \u201cAfrican time\u201d in African cultures.<\/p>\n

In her post, she wrote, \u201cThere is nothing like \u2018African time.\u2019 You are disrespectful and rude!! If it comes to money matters, you will be very early or you have an embassy appointment! Miss me with that attitude. I detest tardiness.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kate Henshaw is a veteran Nigerian actress known for her exceptional acting skills. In 2008, she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in the movie Stronger than Pain.<\/p>\n

She has starred in a number of films such as Faces (1996), Above Death: In God We Trust (2003), A Million Tears (2006), My Little Secret (2006), Stronger Than Pain (2007) and a A Few Good Men (2014).<\/p>\n

In 2011, Henshaw was honoured by the Nigerian federal government as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic.<\/p>\n
