The Ashanti Regional Chairman of ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, a.k.a Chairman Wontumi, has described Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) as the best ticket for the upcoming 2024 general elections.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Thursday, July 4, the National Council of the NPP confirmed Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, as the running mate for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.<\/p>\n

Following this announcement, Chairman Wontumi expressed his strong support for the duo, describing them as an \u201cexcellent pair\u201d and voicing his confidence in their potential to secure victory for the NPP in the 2024 general elections.<\/p>\n

Speaking in an interview with our news team in Kumasi during the NPP parliamentary primary in Manhyia South, Chairman Wontumi highlighted the strengths and leadership qualities of Bawumia and Opoku Prempeh, emphasizing their suitability to lead the party.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe NPP has an excellent ticket, and we\u2019re going to win with this ticket on 7th December 2024, that\u2019s the news. The feeling is good, they make a very good pair, and they are going to win,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n

He said the party will break the 8 in the upcoming polls to enable them to continue with the good works of the NPP government.<\/p>\n

He called on Ghanaians to reject former President John Mahama since he has nothing to offer Ghanaians.<\/p>\n
