The parliamentary primary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Manhyia South Constituency is ongoing today, Sunday July 14, 2024.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The primary has become necessary after four-time Member of Parliament Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh was nominated by the ruling party\u2019s flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as his running mate.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here is vital information on the poll:<\/p>\n

568 delegates expected to vote.
\nPolls will end at 1:00pm but likely to be earlier considering the pace of voting.
\nDelegates have been warned not to enter the voting booth with their phones.
\nSecurity beefed up.
\nAll four aspirants confident of winning based on the feedback from delegates.<\/p>\n
