Coach of the Bluefins Swim Club, Gideon Agyeman, has praised the maiden edition of the Channel One Swimming Championship and described it as \u201camazing<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

He said this in an exclusive interview on Channel One\u2019s Breakfast Daily<\/strong> in the lead up to the 2024 edition of the competition that takes place on July 13 and July 14.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Swimming Championship comes off at the Borteyman Sports Complex with over 100 swimmers expected to compete across Under 10, Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 age categories.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were privileged to showcase our abilities in the last competition and it was amazing. Last year\u2019s competition was amazing; some of the kids were able to drop their times and for the fact that swimming has been able to come to such a limelight by Channel One, is such a great opportunity and the swimming community is very glad that competitions such as this are being organized.\u201d<\/p>\n

Marlins Swim Club emerged as overall winners of the maiden edition with 63 medals with Legon Sharks finishing second with 41 medals.<\/p>
