Ghana Olympic President, Ben Nunoo Mensah, has expressed his delight over the significant financial made contribution to Ghana\u2019s contingent to the 2024 Olympic Games by the French Embassy in Ghana.<\/p>\n

The French Embassy in Ghana has contributed 20,000 Euros to Ghana\u2019s contingent to the 2024 Olympics that will be held in the French capital, Paris, from July 26 to August 11.<\/p>\n

The contribution comes ahead of Ghana\u2019s contingent\u2019s departure to Paris to compete in the multisport event on Wednesday, July 10.<\/p>\n

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Channel One Sports <\/strong>at the official unveiling of Team Ghana\u2019s Olympics kit in an event that was graced by the Cooperation Attach\u00e9 of the French Embassy in Ghana, Marine Hayem, the veteran administrator was pleased with the French Embassy in Ghana\u2019s contribution.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m very happy. It\u2019s something that any struggling sports administrator would be happy about and we are very happy especially with the French Embassy. They\u2019ve been with us throughout this journey for the past two years and I think that it\u2019s a good thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are very happy even though we would have wished that other organizations especially the Ghanaian companies could come on board. We are pleased with what we have and we hope it would encourage others to come on board and support us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

Nine athletes have qualified to represent Ghana at this year\u2019s Olympics.<\/p>
