Black Queens coach Nora H\u00e4uptle has stated that the team will utilize every FIFA International Window to adequately prepare for the upcoming Women\u2019s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco\u00a0next year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The team regrouped after they failed to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, despite a commendable performance against Zambia where they were eliminated on the away goal rule after a 3-3 aggregate draw.<\/p>\n

The Queens are scheduled to play an international friendly against Japan on Saturday, July 13 at the Tokyo Kanazawa Go Go Curry Stadium.<\/p>\n

\nSpeaking before their departure, H\u00e4uptle expressed confidence in using every available FIFA International Window to fine-tune the team\u2019s readiness for the Women\u2019s AFCON.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe WAFCON has been postponed to July in Morocco next year, so we had to re-shedule our planning.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNow we have Japan, Japan is top 7 in the world ranking and maybe besides Spain, they are the best possession based team.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause I said we want to have measurement with the top of the world to see the level we are at.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to have plenty of friendly games in October, December, we want to use all the FIFA international window to make a good preparation.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is also a good time to prep our players, some from the U-20 and secondly we have like 5 or 6 players from the FIFA eligibility programm, so it is still also time to open the squad and see who are best players are for the tournamnet.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to choose the right players, because now everybody wants to join the \u201cMission Volta\u201d<\/strong> and this is something good for me as a coach.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
