Gambian sports journalist, Amadou Tamba, has described Gambian winger Yankuba Minteh\u2019s move to Brighton and Hove Albion as a \u201cgood move<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

He said this in an exclusive interview with Channel One Sports<\/strong> in the wake of the 19 year old\u2019s move from Feyenoord to Brighton on a five year deal worth 33 million pounds.<\/p>\n

The left footed Minteh played last season on loan at Feyenoord and won the Dutch Cup but was on the books of English Premier League side Newcastle United.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the move, Tamba had a positive outlook on the move despite Minteh joining a well-stocked roster that has top wingers like Ghana\u2019s Ibrahim Osman and Japan\u2019s Karou Mitoma.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think, yes, he has made the right move. That is absolutely a very good decision as far as Yankuba Minteh and Gambian football is concerned\u2026this is an opportunity that has come at the right time and I am very much hopeful that Minteh can do good in the Premier League for Brighton.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last season, Minteh registered 11 goals and six assists in 37 games.<\/p>\n
