Ghana FA Cup champions Nsoatreman have appointed Yaw Preko as their new coach, replacing Maxwell Konadu.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Preko, 49, takes over after Konadu secured a move to South African side Black Leopards, who play in the second tier.<\/p>\n

Konadu leveraged his extensive managerial experience to guide Nsoatreman to an FA Cup triumph, defeating regional rivals Bofoakwa Tano in a penalty shootout.<\/p>\n

Despite growing confidence in Konadu\u2019s leadership, he opted to pursue a new challenge in South Africa.<\/p>\n

Yaw Preko has signed a two-year contract with Nsoatreman. The former Black Stars forward is tasked with leading the team in the 2024\/25 CAF Confederation Cup.<\/p>\n

Additionally, after finishing fourth in the Ghana Premier League this season, Preko is expected to guide Nsoatreman to a commendable finish in the upcoming league campaign.<\/p>\n

Preko has been out of club management since his departure from Great Olympics in June 2023. He was recently appointed head coach of Ghana\u2019s U-15 side by the Ghana Football Association.<\/p>\n
