Afrobeats songstress Wendy Shay has cleared the air about a supposed \u2018diss\u2019 song to her manager and CEO of Ruff Town records, Bullet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The artiste recently had a spat with Bullet over contract renewal and agreement causing a friction between both.<\/p>\n

Wendy Shay for the past few weeks was not working with Ruff Town records and released a song \u2018Who Cares\u2019 at the time they had the disagreement.<\/p>\n

The \u2018African Money\u2019 hitmaker released the song at the time of her dispute with Bullet.<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019m working with Bullet again\u2019 \u2013 Wendy Shay confirms dispute with Ruff Town records settled<\/a><\/p>\n

In a post on Instagram earlier in June 2024, Bullet claimed that Wendy Shay\u2019s \u2018Who Cares\u2019 song which she released while they were in dispute was directed towards him.<\/p>\n

He said this while he was commending Sammy Flex for his \u2018excellent\u2019 job in managing Shatta Wale to highlight the challenges artiste\u2019s managers experience in their field.<\/p>\n

\u201cI celebrate you Sammy Flex, you are my best manager of the year. Forget everybody and chop your money. Me sef dem drop diss dong give me but who cares,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

Bullet and Wendy Shay<\/p>\n

However, Wendy Shay has refuted this assertion by Bullet. In an interview with DJ Slim posted on YouTube on June 26, the artiste explained that the circumstances of their disagreement led to the composing of the song.<\/p>\n

She further emphasized that although she was inspired by their dispute to write the song, it is not directed personally to Bullet.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe situation inspired me to write the songs but it is not directed to Bullet. It\u2019s not like I\u2019m giving stray bullet to Bullet. It\u2019s just that as a creative when you go through something you just take the emotions out of it and write something out if it\u2026I understand why he feels that way though,\u201d Wendy Shay explained.<\/p>\n

Wendy Shay also disclosed that the disagreement with Bullet has now been resolved and she is back to working with Ruff Town records.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u201cBullet and I had a problem but some elders stepped in, and the issue has been resolved. I am working with Bullet again. I am back together with Bullet,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n
