Prang, (Bono East) June 22, GNA- Prang (Bono East), June 18, GNA \u2013\u00a0Mr\u00a0Francis Owusu Antwi, Bono East Regional Minister, has commended the\u00a0Yapra\u00a0Community Bank at Prang in the Pru West District for its impressive financial performance and positive outlook in the 2025 fiscal year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Addressing the 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the bank at Prang,\u00a0Mr\u00a0Antwi expressed confidence that the bank would meet the Bank of Ghana\u2019s GH\u00a25 million minimum capital requirement.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cLooking at the\u00a0amount\u00a0of reserves you\u00a0have\u00a0I am hopeful the bank will meet the threshold,\u201d he\u00a0stated, and\u00a0advised the management to\u00a0work diligently to meet the target.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

He\u00a0advised\u00a0the bank to re-strategise\u00a0and remain innovative in its loan delivery to\u00a0maximise\u00a0profit margins.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mr\u00a0Alhassan Anyiass, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the bank, said the increase in shareholders had contributed to a rise in deposits during the fiscal year under review.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, he noted that the bank\u2019s investment in treasury bills declined due to a drop in Treasury bill rates.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mr\u00a0Anyiass encouraged management and staff to intensify efforts to improve the bank\u2019s profitability in the coming\u00a0financial years.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The AGM, attended by shareholders and customers, deliberated on the Board Chairman\u2019s,\u00a0Auditor\u2019s\u00a0and Directors\u2019 reports.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

It also reviewed the bank\u2019s 2025 financial statements, approved the payment of dividends, and endorsed the appointment of new auditors.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
