Accra, June 18, GNA \u2013\u00a0The Estonian Business Angels Network (EstBAN), one of Europe\u2019s most active early-stage investor networks, has confirmed its partnership with the Pan African AI & Innovation Summit (PAAIS) 2026.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

This collaboration signals a growing interest from global investors in Africa\u2019s rapidly evolving artificial intelligence ecosystem.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

As part of the partnership,\u00a0EstBAN\u00a0will co-underwrite the Summit\u2019s \u201cHack-AI-Thon,\u201d which is a competitive pitch platform designed to\u00a0showcase\u00a0and support Africa\u2019s most promising AI startups.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The initiative aims to connect innovative startups with funding opportunities, mentorship, and strategic partnerships.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Pan African AI & Innovation Summit 2026 is scheduled to take place on September 22 and 23 at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The event will bring together policymakers, investors, technologists, and entrepreneurs from across Africa and the global AI community to exchange ideas and foster collaboration.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

A major highlight of the summit will be the headline AI pitch competition, where African startup founders will present their ideas before a panel of international and regional investors.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Winners of the Hack-AI-Thon will gain increased visibility among angel investors, access to experienced mentors, and opportunities to explore potential investment and partnerships within the\u00a0EstBAN\u00a0network.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Estonia, widely regarded as one of the world\u2019s most advanced digital states, has pioneered e-governance systems that have been adopted globally.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Its business angel community has played a key role in supporting globally recognized AI and deep-tech ventures.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0EstBAN\u2019s\u00a0involvement reflects a commitment to learning from emerging African ecosystems, while building new connections and exploring areas for future collaboration.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mr\u00a0Felix Donkor, Convenor of the Pan African AI & Innovation Summit,\u00a0emphasised\u00a0that discussions about Africa\u2019s AI potential must translate into tangible outcomes, including funding for startups, experimentation, and partnerships that deliver lasting value on the continent.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Summit and the Hack-AI-Thon are being\u00a0organised\u00a0in partnership with Ghana\u2019s Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, the University of Ghana Digital Youth Village, and Brandeis University GDS.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Ministry\u2019s active role in promoting responsible AI adoption is expected to strengthen Ghana\u2019s reputation as a preferred destination for AI investment and talent development in Africa.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
