0px;\">Italy\u2019s Eni<\/span> said on Monday that it and partners Petroci and Vitol \u200chave approved the final investment decision for the third phase of the Baleine project in the Ivory Coast, marking a new stage in the development of the country\u2019s largest hydrocarbon discovery.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Phase 3 will significantly expand output, with oil production set to rise to 150,000 barrels per day from 60,000 \u200b, and gas output to 200 million cubic feet per day from 80 million, the company said.<\/li>\n<li>The development \u200bincludes the construction of a new floating \u200bproduction, storage and offloading (FPSO) unit aimed at ensuring high operational \u200cefficiency, \u2060safety standards and reduced environmental impact.<\/li>\n<li>Eni said all gas produced under the project will be directed to the domestic market, supporting Ivory Coast\u2019s \u200benergy needs, \u200bboosting power \u2060generation and aiding industrial development.<\/li>\n<li>Eni has been present in the African country \u200bsince 2015, where it made the \u200bBaleine \u2060and\u00a0Calao\u00a0discoveries.<\/li>\n<li>The third phase is expected to
