President John Mahama has appointed Baba Sadiq Abdulai Abu as the High Commissioner-Designate to Nigeria.<\/p>\n

The announcement, made official by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on March 1, 2026, names Abu to represent Ghana\u2019s interests in Africa\u2019s most populous nation. <\/p>\n

The appointment underscores the importance Ghana places on its bilateral relations with Nigeria, a crucial economic and political partner in the West African sub-region.<\/p>\n
