The Embassy of Ghana in Doha has issued a security advisory urging all Ghanaians living in Qatar to seek shelter immediately until further notice, following heightened tensions in the region.<\/p>\n

In an official release issued on February 28, 2026, the Embassy cited a missile attack and its impact in Doha as the basis for the alert, advising citizens to rely only on official sources for updates.<\/p>\n

\u201cDue to missile attack and its impact in Doha, please take shelter until further notice, obtain information from official sources,\u201d the notice stated.<\/p>\n

The Embassy further urged Ghanaians to stay away from military sites, remain indoors, avoid crowded areas and minimise exposure to potential danger. <\/p>\n

Citizens were also encouraged to keep essential supplies, including medication and food, readily available.<\/p>\n
