The Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service, COP Lydia Yarkor Donkor, has visited the Swedru School of Business following a violent attack on a student during a zonal athletics competition in Agona Swedru.<\/p>\n

The incident involved a student of Awutu Obrachire Senior High Technical School who was attacked during the sporting event.<\/p>\n

In a statement after the visit, COP Donkor said the purpose was to engage school management, assess the situation and ensure firm action is taken.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe purpose of the visit was to engage management, assess the circumstances, reinforce discipline, and ensure that immediate steps are taken to prevent any recurrence,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

She said that the visit was aimed at restoring order and reinforcing accountability within the school environment.<\/p>\n
