The Agricultural Development Bank PLC (ADB) has held an interdenominational Thanksgiving Service at its Head Office in Accra.<\/p>\n

The occasion brought together Management, Staff, and invited Clergy to express gratitude to God for a successful 2025 and to also seek His (God\u2019s) grace in 2026.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Christian Thanksgiving Service was held in the morning on the 4th Floor of ADB\u2019s Head Office in Accra, bringing together management and staff in an atmosphere of praise, worship, and reflection. <\/p>\n

The service was officiated by Bishop James Saah, who charged staff to remain grateful, resilient, and purposeful in the discharge of their duties.<\/p>\n

The afternoon session saw management in fellowship with congregants at the Police Mosque in Cantonments, where prayers were offered for the Bank\u2019s leadership, staff, customers, shareholders, and all other stakeholders, for sustained peace and success.<\/p>\n

In his remarks, the Managing Director of ADB, Edward Ato Sarpong, noted that the thanksgiving was a way of expressing profound gratitude to \u201cGod for how far He has brought us in 2025\u201d. <\/p>\n

\u201cI have been with the Bank for a year now as the Managing Director, and I can say that good Lord has been merciful to us over the year. We have been able to overcome challenges, and ADB is now on the path of growth and prosperity,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur performance for the period reflects ADB\u2019s deliberate efforts over the past 9 months to stabilise our operations, strengthen our balance sheet, enhance profitability, and deliver long-term value to our diverse stakeholders while continuing to support key sectors of the economy, particularly agriculture. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe are on course, on our three-and-a-half-year strategy, to deliver sustainable value and growth for everyone,\u201d Mr Sarpong added.<\/p>\n

He further stated that, having witnessed this significant turnaround in fortunes through discipline and diligence, there was a need to give thanks to Almighty God for His guidance in 2025 and to seek His grace as we take a giant step towards achieving our strategic vision.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis success could not have happened without the unwavering support and commitment of staff, and I wish to express our profound gratitude to them for their respective contributions in moving the Bank forward. I believe that together we will achieve greater heights,\u201d the ADB MD said.<\/p>\n

The Thanksgiving Services provided an opportunity for staff and Management to reflect on the Bank\u2019s progress and to recommit themselves to the course of ADB.<\/p>\n

ADB reported strong financial performance for the\u00a0third quarter of 2025, with profit before tax reaching GH\u00a2447.49 million, up 153.66% from GH\u00a2176.41 million in<\/span> the same period in 2024. <\/p>\n

The Bank also demonstrated strong liquidity, recording a liquid ratio of 130% in 2025 Q3, well above the regulatory threshold.<\/p>\n

The Bank\u2019s total assets grew by 17%, rising from GH\u00a213.87 billion in September 2024 to GH\u00a216.22 billion as of September 2025, reflecting continued balance sheet expansion driven by robust growth in investment securities and deposits. <\/p>\n

Also, net investment securities rose significantly to GH\u00a26.45 billion from GH\u00a24.71 billion in the same period last year.<\/p>\n

All other performance indicators also witnessed a significant upward trend in the third quarter of 2025. In line with regulatory requirements, the bank will publish its 2025 year-end financials in the first quarter of this year. <\/p>\n

The Bank is pursuing its strategic vision to become one of the top three banks in Ghana, globally admired for its people, processes, and performance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
