\nFor Ghana, the focus remains firmly inward. The team captain shared in a recent interview that preparations have centered on fitness, technique, and mental toughness, as the players brace themselves for elite-level opposition.
\n\u201cWe know the competition will be tough, especially against players like Adriana D\u00edaz and Sofia Polcanova, but our team is united, and we are determined to give our best in every match,” said Cynthia Kwabi.
\nWith disciplined training and a clear strategy, Ghana aims not just to compete but to leave a mark at the championship in London.\u00a0
\nReacting to the draw, Technical Director Charles Tachie-Menson said: “Our group is not an easy one, but table tennis can spring surprises. We just need to urge and psych the players to face any opponent, regardless of names. We do not just want to go and participate; we want to do well and leave a mark.”
\nOn the preparation of the Black Loopers for the championship, he added “We have a well-laid-out preparational plan. We will be taking the players to China for a training tour to ensure they are in peak shape for the championship.”
