The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) on Friday, 30th January, inaugurated the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) chapter of the Immigration Ladies Association (IMMILAC) in Accra.<\/p>\n

The event brought together over two hundred female officers to celebrate the new chapter under the theme, \u201cWomen in Motion: Inspiring Change and Driving Progress.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the launch, the National President of IMMILAC, Deputy Commissioner of Immigration (DCOI) Maud Anima Quainoo, administered the oath of office to the leadership of the KIA IMMILAC chapter. <\/p>\n

The executive team comprises a President and Vice President, Secretary and Deputy Secretary, Treasurer, Organiser and Deputy Organiser, Porters, a Christian Chaplain and Deputy, as well as a Muslim Chaplain.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the media after the ceremony, the newly sworn-in KIA IMMILAC President, Assistant Commissioner of Immigration (ACI) Yaa Foriwaa Opoku Agyemang, lauded the association and encouraged members to unite in giving their best service at the airport. <\/p>\n
