Delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) going to the polls this Saturday to elect a flagbearer for the party have been urged to choose a candidate with a clear vision for the country\u2019s development.<\/p>\n

Addressing NPP members and delegates on Sunday during a campaign visit by Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to his constituency, the former Member of Parliament for Ahafo Ano South East, Kwame Adabo, said that among those contesting the flagbearer position, Dr Bawumia was the best choice because of his experience and vision for Ghana.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need someone with a vision for Ghana\u2019s development,\u201d the former MP said, as he recalled some of the policies championed by the former Vice President.<\/p>\n

\u201cDr Bawumia brought gold for reserves, gold for oil and many other initiatives. Ghana awaits him. I strongly believe that God has a purpose for him in this country,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know the impact he made as Vice President, and we are confident that when he becomes President, Ghana will see a lot of progress. That is why we are solidly behind you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Adabo appealed to his constituents and delegates across the country to support Dr Bawumia, whom he said would lead the NPP to victory in 2028.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I urge all delegates to remain solidly behind Dr Bawumia, who will lead us to victory. Ignore those who come with money to ask you not to support Dr Bawumia,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
