FC Nordsjaelland forward Prince Amoako Jr says he has his sights set on a call-up to the Black Stars.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Amoako Jr has been a great addition to the Danish side since the start of the season as Nordsjaelland chase a playoff spot.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Having seen teammate Caleb Yirenkyi play for the national team in recent times, Amoako Jr is also looking to get into such environment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve had conversations about the national team but it\u2019s never been about what\u2019s on the inside,\u201d he told Joy Sports.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cOn the outside from what I see, the national team is always good to play. You\u2019re representing your country and representing the very place that made you.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also believes being invited to the national team will be a morale booster for his performance and confidence.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me, it\u2019s always a big deal to play in the national team and to be called up for it. It would mean the world to be and it would just elevate my confidence and everything else will just align,\u201d he added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cBut right now, to play in the national team is a very big dream for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Amoako Jr has been involved in 11 goals in 21 appearances across all competitions for Nordsjaelland scoring six and assisting five.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
