The Mayor of Kumasi, Richard Kwasi Ofori Boadi Agyemang, has unveiled a 3D design of a proposed Kumasi Urban Park, describing it as a major step towards making the city greener and more livable.<\/p>\n

In a Facebook post, the Mayor said the project, to be located at Ridge\/Danyame, is intended to provide residents with a serene and welcoming open space for relaxation, recreation, and family bonding.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen completed, this landmark project will provide a serene and welcoming open space where residents of Kumasi can relax, unwind, and spend quality time with family and loved ones,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to Mr Ofori Boadi Agyemang, the park will feature several modern facilities, including a spacious car park, a state-of-the-art amphitheatre for events and performances, a bar and restaurant, a quiet garden for reflection, and a large playground equipped for children.<\/p>\n

He described the initiative as part of a broader vision to transform Kumasi into a more environmentally friendly and people-centred city.<\/p>\n

The city has experienced rapid urbanisation over the past decade, with commercial and residential developments steadily replacing open lands.<\/p>\n
