Founding Member of the NPP, Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, has expressed concern over the party\u2019s decision to initiate disciplinary action against former Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Professor Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng, following comments he made describing the party as \u201cfake.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking on JoyNews\u2019 The Pulse<\/strong> on Tuesday, Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe described Prof. Frimpong-Boateng as a gentleman with extensive experience and knowledge, suggesting that his words were chosen carefully. <\/p>\n

He argued that the party should have invited him for a discussion rather than moving swiftly to expel him.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way the leadership is handling this, if not careful, will disperse party members,\u201d he said. \u201cWe have just come out of an election where we failed nationwide. You don\u2019t treat outstanding members like this.\u201d<\/p>\n

He warned that the current approach could set a dangerous precedent, stating, \u201cIf they are going to displace Frimpong-Boateng, very soon they may sack many others who share similar views.\u201d<\/p>\n

He further emphasised that the NPP should have organised the grassroots, addressed past mistakes, and rebuilt the party structure before selecting its leadership.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
