Tottenham Hotspur\u00a0winger Mohammed Kudus has been ruled out until after the international break in March.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old lasted just 19 minutes of\u00a0Sunday\u2019s 1-1 draw with Sunderland\u00a0before limping off with a thigh injury.<\/p>\n

The Ghana forward is expected to be available for the return of Premier League action on 11 April.<\/p>\n

\u201cMohammed Kudus, unfortunately, has a bigger injury to the tendon in the quad,\u201d said manager Thomas Frank.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat is one where we expect him back after the March international break.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kudus signed for\u00a0\u00a355m from West Ham\u00a0last summer and has scored twice in the Premier League for Spurs.<\/p>\n

Tottenham\u2019s troubles in attack<\/h2>\n

Tottenham\u2018s 3-2 defeat to\u00a0Bournemouth\u00a0on Wednesday night added to the air of frustration surrounding Thomas Frank\u2019s team.<\/p>\n

The defeat leaves\u00a0Tottenham\u00a0in 14th position in the Premier League table with just seven wins from 21 league matches.<\/p>\n

The latest loss was against a\u00a0Bournemouth\u00a0side that had been a club-record run of 11 top-flight games without a win.<\/p>\n

Spurs\u2019 labouring attack appears to be causing the most angst to the north London club\u2019s fanbase.<\/p>\n

Frank\u2019s approach can be seen as unnecessarily risk-averse, and while\u00a0Tottenham\u2018s manager may point to the ongoing absence of key threats such as James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke, the data supports the suspicion that Spurs simply are not clicking in attack.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tottenham\u00a0have played by far the fewest through balls of any Premier League side this season, while they rank in the division\u2019s bottom-five sides for shots, expected goals and touches in the opposition box.<\/p>\n

The club may add to their squad in the January transfer window but one win in the past six matches in all competitions represents a bleak winter for Spurs so far.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
