The Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Godwin Kudzo Tameklo, has highlighted the Authority\u2019s pivotal role in promoting sustainable development during the 77th Annual New Year School and Conference.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the theme, \u201cBuilding the Ghana We Want Together for Sustainable Development,\u201d Mr Tamekloe outlined the NPA\u2019s ongoing efforts to support the nation\u2019s economic growth by ensuring the availability of quality and affordable petroleum products.<\/p>\n

He emphasised that reliable fuel supply is critical for powering industries, businesses, and households across the country.<\/p>\n

He noted that the Authority remains committed to maintaining fair pricing and upholding regulatory compliance within the downstream petroleum sector.<\/p>\n

According to Mr Tameklo, these measures are aligned with the government\u2019s reset agenda, which seeks to stabilise the energy market while protecting consumer interests.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur focus is on ensuring that Ghanaians have access to petroleum products that are both safe and affordable,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy regulating the sector effectively, we aim to contribute meaningfully to sustainable development and economic resilience.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Tamekloe further stressed that the NPA continues to engage stakeholders across the petroleum value chain to strengthen transparency, efficiency, and accountability.<\/p>\n

He said these efforts are designed to create a downstream petroleum sector that can support long-term growth while advancing Ghana\u2019s broader development objectives.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
