Hubtel has been recognised as the Overall Best Fintech Partner at the 2025 Fintech Stakeholder Dinner & Awards, organised by MobileMoney LTD, the mobile financial services subsidiary of MTN Ghana. <\/p>\n

Held under the theme \u201cCelebrating the Power of Partnership and Service Excellence in Fintech\u201d, the event convened regulators, financial institutions, and innovators who are shaping Ghana\u2019s digital financial landscape.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s ceremony emphasised the pivotal role of collaboration in driving industry progress. <\/p>\n

Speaking ahead of the event, Mr Shaibu Haruna, CEO of MobileMoney LTD, noted that the company\u2019s growth has been anchored in partnerships with businesses and customers who engage with the Mobile Money ecosystem daily.<\/p>\n

He added that the awards night serves to recognise \u201cthe people and institutions who continue to push Ghana\u2019s fintech frontier forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

The citation commended Hubtel for its \u201cexceptional leadership, innovation, and unwavering commitment to excellence in Ghana\u2019s digital financial landscape.\u201d <\/p>\n

The company\u2019s dedication to building secure payment infrastructure, alongside robust compliance with the Payment Systems & Services Act (PSSA), was recognised as setting a benchmark for the sector.<\/p>\n

The event highlighted the importance of trust and regulatory compliance in sustaining Ghana\u2019s fintech growth. <\/p>\n

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Hayford Kumah, Head of the FinTech Oversight and Supervision Unit at the Bank of Ghana, emphasised that \u201ctrust will remain the foundation of Ghana\u2019s digital financial evolution.\u201d<\/p>\n

He reiterated that the central bank\u2019s mandate is to foster \u201ctrust, safety, and soundness in the financial system,\u201d urging industry players to strengthen compliance systems and enhance measures against financial crime as the sector expands.<\/p>\n
