The Black Queens have risen five places in the latest FIFA rankings after an impressive run of form since August.<\/p>\n

Ghana, who were previously ranked 67th, now sit 62nd in the world.<\/p>\n

On the continent, the Queens are ranked third, behind champions Nigeria and South Africa.<\/p>\n

Ghana secured qualification to the 2026 WAFCON with a 7\u20130 aggregate win over Egypt, with their only defeat in recent months coming in a friendly against fourth-ranked England earlier in December.<\/p>\n

The Black Queens will now shift focus to preparations for the continental tournament, scheduled for 17 March to 3 April 2026 in Morocco.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
