But again, why do you send a competitor to go do an audit?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n<p>The coordinator further disclosed that GH\u20b510.45 million, initially allocated to Lightwave from NHIA funds, was redirected to the auditing institution in 2024. <\/p>\n<p>He described the transaction as \u201csurprising\u201d and suggested that only the Minister of Health can clarify the circumstances behind it.<\/p>\n<p>The controversy arises as the Ministry of Health alleges that Lightwave breached a $100 million contract by failing to connect 950 health facilities to the LHIMS platform. <\/p>\n<p>Adjei, however, maintains that the company has followed its obligations and is confident that the funds and audit irregularities point to a deeper, unresolved issue.<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cThere is some form of hidden mystery which I think it is only the minister of health, the current minister of health, that will be able to answer because we\u2019ve done our checks, and everything points to one particular direction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lightwave eHealth Solutions has been a key partner in Ghana\u2019s digital health initiatives, aiming to improve efficiency, data management, and service delivery across the country\u2019s healthcare system. <\/p>\n<p>The current dispute highlights ongoing challenges in oversight, contract management, and transparency in
