The NAIMOS task force, currently operating in the Western and Western North Regions, has disrupted an illegal mining site at Dadieso in the Suaman District of the Western North Region. <\/p>\n

Nine Chinese nationals engaged in illicit mining were arrested for operations that had severely polluted the Bia River. <\/p>\n

Several Chungfang machines, heavy-duty pumping equipment, and makeshift structures used by the miners were destroyed beyond repair.<\/p>\n

The operation took place on Saturday, 6 December 2025, at about 11:50 a.m., and forms part of the taskforce\u2019s ongoing efforts to protect Ghana\u2019s natural resources, curb environmental degradation, and enforce mining laws across the country.<\/p>\n
