The Presidency has hosted a 40-member delegation from the National College of Defence Studies (NCDS), Course 2\u20132025, at Jubilee House as part of the College\u2019s national study tour and experiential learning programme.<\/p>\n

The visit began with a brief orientation and tour of the Jubilee House, followed by a structured dialogue with key officials from the Office of the President.<\/p>\n

Welcoming the delegation, Acting Chief Director at the Office of the President, Dr Abubakari Wayo, stressed the importance of whole-of-government cooperation in achieving policy coherence and national development. <\/p>\n

He noted that strong partnerships between security institutions and civilian governance structures remain essential for strategic leadership and effective decision-making.<\/p>\n

The Leader of the NCDS delegation expressed appreciation for the engagement, describing the Presidency as a critical institution for understanding Ghana\u2019s national power systems, policy mechanisms, and security architecture.<\/p>\n

Presentations from the Cabinet Secretariat and the PPMED Directorate offered insights into Cabinet coordination, administrative reforms, and the institutional frameworks that support executive governance.<\/p>\n

An Open Forum, held under the Chatham House Rule, created space for candid discussions on national security, defence diplomacy, governance reforms, and policy implementation. <\/p>\n

The session provided participants with practical exposure to the complexities of managing national priorities at the highest level.<\/p>\n

Delivering the keynote address on behalf of the President, Deputy Chief of Staff (Administration), Nana Oye Bampoe Addo, praised the NCDS for its role in preparing Ghana\u2019s next generation of strategic leaders. <\/p>\n
