The Ghana\u2013Spain Parliamentary Friendship Association has renewed its commitment to advancing bilateral cooperation after paying a courtesy call on the Spanish Ambassador, H.E. \u00c1ngel Lossada, in Accra.<\/p>\n

The delegation, led by the Association\u2019s Chairman, met the Ambassador on Thursday, November 13, at the Embassy of Spain for discussions focused on strengthening diplomatic ties and expanding areas of mutual collaboration.<\/p>\n

Accompanying the Chairman were Members of Parliament Hon. Felicia Adjei and Hon. Alhassan Sulemana, along with the Association\u2019s Secretary, Mr. Mustapha Ahmed. They were received by Deputy Commissioner Ms. Isabel Ibarra Serrano de Haro, whose participation added depth to the engagement.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the Chairman expressed gratitude for the Ambassador\u2019s \u201ccontinuous hospitality\u201d and reaffirmed the Association\u2019s resolve to pursue deeper cooperation between the two countries. He outlined priority sectors where collaboration could deliver significant impact, including trade, education, health, agriculture, tourism, and parliamentary exchange programmes.<\/p>\n

He also stressed that Ghana stands to benefit from Spain\u2019s \u201cstrong institutional structures and development models,\u201d which he said present valuable lessons for national development.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Lossada, in response, expressed Spain\u2019s readiness to work closely with the Association to advance shared interests and unlock new opportunities for development.<\/p>\n

Both sides ended the meeting with a renewed commitment to building a more dynamic partnership that supports innovation and growth in Ghana, particularly within constituencies such as Abuakwa South.<\/p>\n

The engagement adds fresh momentum to parliamentary diplomacy efforts and further strengthens the long-standing ties between Ghana and Spain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
