Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has issued a stern warning to all public officials: corruption will no longer be tolerated, regardless of political affiliation or rank.<\/p>\n

Speaking amid mounting investigations and high-profile arrests, Nketiah affirmed the NDC government\u2019s commitment to a sweeping accountability campaign.<\/p>\n

\u201cWherever Ken Ofori-Atta is hiding, we\u2019ll find him. Every crime they have committed, they must answer for it.\u201d<\/p>\n

He stressed that the crackdown is not partisan.<\/p>\n

\u201cA criminal is a criminal, whether NPP, NDC or otherwise,\u201d he said, adding that even appointees from his own party will face prosecution if found guilty.<\/p>\n

The warning follows more than 2,400 complaints of suspected corruption submitted to the Attorney General under the NDC-led \u201cOperation Recover All Loot (ORAL).\u201d Nketiah was clear:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will tighten the noose on accountability.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also called for reforms to strengthen anti-graft institutions, urging the Constitutional Review Committee to separate the roles of Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, arguing that the current dual role \u201ccreates a conflict of interest\u201d and weakens prosecution efforts.<\/p>\n

On the ongoing arrests and investigations, Nketiah declared: \u201cAs for the arrests, we have only just begun.\u201d<\/p>\n

He reiterated that the government\u2019s anti-corruption agenda is intensifying, and no official, past or present, will be spared if implicated.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
