Nsuta\u00a0, June 9, GNA \u2013 The fairway of the\u00a0Nsuta\u00a0Golf Course was electric as golfers, enthusiasts, and families gathered for the highly\u00a0anticipated\u00a0third edition of the\u00a0Panafrican\u00a0Golf Tournament.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The tournament featured a mix of fierce amateur competition, a lively corporate staff showdown, and a heartwarming showcase of rising youth talent, the event proved to be a spectacular celebration of the sport.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In Men\u2019s Group A, Prince Amo Adukwaw put on a masterclass of consistency, carding a brilliant 73 net to claim the top spot. He narrowly edged out Kenneth Kwaku Dadzi, who finished just one stroke behind with a 74 net, while Sanda Farouk Alhassan secured the third-place podium finish with a 75 net.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s Group B shifted to the Stableford scoring system, where Dennis Dada Darko dominated the field, racking up an impressive 37 points to take the crown. Samuel Ghartey secured the runner-up spot with 34 points, followed closely by Moses Fitzgerald Laryea with 33 points.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Ladies\u2019 category saw Rosemond Coggin deliver a stellar performance, cruising to victory with 34 Stableford points. Joana Jackson claimed the runner-up trophy with 29 points, and Maureen Cobbinah rounded out the top three with 26 points.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The tournament also tested the players\u2019 raw power and surgical precision with the traditional auxiliary awards where Ernestina Mensah won the Ladies\u2019 Longest Drive and Closest to the pin while the Men\u2019s Closest to the Pin went to Joseph Arthur.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The corporate spirit was alive and well in the\u00a0Panafrican\u00a0Komatsu Staff Putting Challenge, where Dennis\u00a0out-putted\u00a0the competition to claim bragging rights for the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The future of the sport was also on full display during the Kids Putting Challenge, which saw the youngest competitors bring intense focus to the greens.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Girls\u2019 Division ad Naa Esi Menz as winner followed by Mannessa Osei Danso while Kekeli Anagbonu won the Boys\u2019 Division followed by Fidail Osei Williams and Moepheth\u00a0Arhinful.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
