Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Bj\u00f6rkegren is relishing the opportunity to face European champions England in an international friendly.<\/p>\n

Ghana is set to take on the Lionesses on December 2, 2025, at the St. Mary\u2019s Stadium in Southampton, UK.<\/p>\n

The game will mark the first-ever meeting between Ghana and England at the senior women\u2019s international level.<\/p>\n

Bj\u00f6rkegren says the clash will provide a valuable test for his side as they prepare for next year\u2019s Women\u2019s Africa Cup of Nations.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a big game, of course. I think the game is more important in the global world because [England] is the most difficult team to play in the world,\u201d he told JoySports in an exclusive interview.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are probably in the top four in the world together with Spain, France, and the USA right now.<\/p>\n

\u201cEngland are one of the best for sure, and they\u2019re a team that just keeps improving so it will be a difficult game for us. The fact that they want to play against us is the most important thing.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re talking about a team that can potentially win the World Cup in Brazil. They\u2019re not just going there to participate; they\u2019re going there to win it and they want to play against us as part of their preparations.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
